At the end of 2021, it is time for the Free. team to evaluate. That's why in mid-December we met for an afternoon to end 2021 in style and to start 2022 in the best conditions.
2021 : A SUCCESSFUL YEAR
As we like to say at Free.:
"Alone we go fast, together we go far."
Since last June we have worked on 120 projects, which represents 2590 hours of work, for a turnover of 97.651,08 € and 12.741,72 € of result.
We have 16 internal clients and 3 external clients. And if we used to work only for Belgium, we now collaborate with the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Switzerland and Malaysia.
These results are the result of teamwork and apart from the financial aspect, at Free. we are convinced that everyone has the opportunity to shine by showing their skills and talents, to be recognised for it and that regardless of the background.
This is why we imagined Free., an operation that allows everyone to make their talents known and grow. This project came about thanks to Jump, the Decathlon intrapreneur incubator created by Alicia Verspecht.
WHAT ABOUT 2022?
We want to reach out to people in difficulty. We are thinking of school dropouts and people in social reintegration. Supporting projects with human value is something that is part of the future of Free.
We are convinced that we will be able to extend our system to other creative professions, but not only ... Free. can be easily duplicated around the world.
Our ambition is to play a role in the printing of ever greener media and to be one of the players in responsible digitalisation.
Free. wants to make Decathlon a stronger brand visually, daring to adopt new trends and new digital media.
NOT FORGETTING THE GOOD MOOD!
Because Free. is also a relaxed team, united under the same passion: Sport
That's why on that day we were able to experience gentle yoga and axe throwing, a typical Canadian sport.
But our creative team also feeds off the world around us and makes a point of living with the times. We are on the lookout for trends in order to propose innovative and coherent designs to our clients.
To feed our creativity we went to the David Hockney exhibition at the Bozar Museum in Brussels. In addition to the graphic inspiration that such an exhibition can provide, we learned the following lesson: creativity is a discipline that must be cultivated and should never be taken for granted. This is why we strive to improve our work in order to offer you ever more innovative projects.
